Family Kitchens

I first used Family Kitchens 7 years ago and when I moved house and needed another kitchen I didn't bother to look any further, and had a second kitchen from them. The owner/designer 'Sos' is a likeable, no-nonsense chap who gives honest and genuine design advice, and doesn't try to sell you more than you need. I feel I got good quality and value for money with both my kitchens. His knowledge and experience were invaluable in helping me decide on the practical elements of my kitchen, such as layout and appliances. The showroom, though small, carries a huge range of sample doors, granite etc, and both times I felt I had plenty to choose from. His fitters are reliable and friendly, and on the whole the standard of work is first class. The only thing that stops me giving Family Kitcens 5 stars is that with both kitchens I experienced minor teething problems with electrics or plumbing - a common hazard when using a 'Jack of all trades' kitchen fitters rather than specialist electricians/plumbers. Overall though, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
