Tony installed a stairlift for my terminally ill mother in law. He turned up alone to install the lift and needed help from us to get the stair lift into the property. We were promised £100 back if the stair lift was returned within 2 months undamaged, it also states this in the contract. Unfortunately my mother in law died within the 2 months of the stair lift being fitted. There were a few problems with payment due to unforeseen circumstances and my mother in law filling in a cheque from an account which was no longer being used, bearing in mind she was on very strong medication which made her confused at times. Tony turned up alone to collect the stair lift a couple of days after my mother in laws death. By now he had been paid in full with cash. Again he needed help with removing the lift from the property which we did without question. He then refused us the £100 refund because of the bounced cheque. I won't say what he also accused our family of. He was also very threatening over the telephone. I do hope no one else is treated in the same way at possibly one of the worst times in their lives.
